I know it has been several weeks since I have posted anything and I guess that is because I have to keep reminding myself that "It is a Process" but that I have to continue to believe in the process even when the scale isn't what I want to see! If it is going to the wrong way then I am probably not doing everything I need to be doing. Which means I have to admit I am off track and get motivation to get back on track.
I am the queen of procrastination! Which is how I gained so much weight in the first place. I have been blogging about how important it is to track your food intake to know what and how much you are putting in your body. A lot of the good things are so much better than a little of the bad things. We are now in week 10 of this session which is amazing but in those 10 weeks I HAVE NOT BEEN TRACKING MY FOOD! I admit it I am not practicing what I preach. The scale has stayed the same most of the 10 weeks but have gone up the last two weeks (not much but enough). One of the main reason is we have been eating out much more than we had in the previous 8 weeks. Much easier to control what and how much goes in when you are eating at home. Restaurants have hidden fat, calories, and sodium in items that you think are good choices. I love the book "Eat this not that" it is very enlightening.
Workouts are going great. I have missed a few workouts in the last 10 weeks but overall I am getting them all in. I am going strong and hard each and every workout. I love that we incorporated in the P90X Plus workouts on week 5 of this session. I love the new workouts and Total Body is my absoloute favorite. I highly recommend you purchase these DVD's if you have been doing P90X for a while! They are a great addition and you can order them from my site www.beachbodycoach.com/chaddaph.
Here is my plan for the rest of 2009!
1. TRACK MY FOOD! TRACK MY FOOD! TRACK MY FOOD! Starting Today!
2. Complete Round 3 of P90X (2 1/2 weeks to go)
3. Take a week off (do 4 to 5 cardio workouts during this week) and do the 2 Day Fast shakes from Beachbody.
4. Start the Insanity workout program! This is a 60 day program. Should be able to finish this by mid December which would put Chad and I at our 1 year mark for working out on a consistent and weekly basis!
2010
1. Do it all over again.
2. Reach my goal weight!
Bring It!
